| Description: |
| Construction of approximately 13,000 liner feet of 24" ductile iron water pipe using open cut method of construction. Project also includes 128 linear feet of 42" steel casing installed by bore and jack method beneath Port Republic Road on VDOT right of way. Other ancillary construction includes a detention pond and removal of two farm silos. Materials for 24" pipe and 24" valves will be provided by the owner (partial selection of Owner furnished materials is currently available on site or in yard inventory); all other material will be provided by the Contractor. The contract time will be for 300 days / 360 days with a milestone of April 15, 2022 for complete delivery of all Owner Finished materials; otherwise Contractor will be provided with a time extension. The contract terms also include a Contractor's option for delay of Notice to Proceed for up to sixty days. |
