Summer Youth Volleyball League (Ages 8-14)
Registration will open on April 14 for City Residents and April 28 for Non-Residents. Deadline to register is May 30. This co-ed league is designed to introduce and develop the basics of volleyball in a non-competitive setting. Age is determined as of June 1. Participants will be placed on teams and led by volunteer coaches and staff. Fundamentals will be the emphasis, including serving, passing, setting, and attacking. All players are required to have knee pads and they must be worn during play. Email Courtney.Carawan@harrisonburgva.gov or call 540-433-9168 to get more information.
- The divisions will include 8-10/11-12/13-14.
- Monday/Tuesday will be at the Community Activities Center, and Wednesday/Thursday at Thomas Harrison Middle School.
The program is scheduled to start June 9 with a skills evaluation and draft. Program set to conclude on July 31. Registration may be done online by visiting our Program Registration page, or in-person at the Athletics Office. The registration fee is $30/player for City residents, and $60/player for Non-Residents.
