Bring your superhero to the Community Activities Center for a fun filled superhero party!

The party is from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.

Superhero themed music, games, crafts, inflatable obstacle course, and photo opportunity.

This is open to kindergarten to 5th grade. There is an event limit of 50 couples.

$5 per child. Parent must accompany child.

Celebrating the Firefly

Enjoy the longest day of the year and the spectacle of thousands of fireflies. Learn about the benefits of fireflies then as the sun sets and dusk arrives there will be the option to stroll down the paths at Heritage Oaks Golf Course and see the fireflies lighting up.

Pop Ups in the Park - Bark in the Park

Join us at the Smithland Road Dog park as local businesses, vets, and rescue organizations will be in attendance with purchasable goods, services, and information to provide your furry friend with a fun and healthy life.

5:30pm to 7:30pm

Pop Ups in the Park - Purcell Park

Join us at Purcell Park, along with Harrisonburg Public Works, in building a pollinator hotel for your yard.

1:00pm to 3:00pm

Youth TryAthlon

This event held at Westover Park is geared toward being an introduction to triathlons. The focus of this event is completion over competition. All finishers receive a finisher medal. This event is open to ages 5-17.
